People Skills


The research interests of the Electrical Engineering Group include cellular neural networks theory and applications, stability of nonlinear systems, chaotic and hyperchaotic circuits, synchronization properties, chaos-based cryptography, fractional systems, generation of complex dynamics, circuit design for generating multi-scroll attractors and multi-wing attractors. The Group has published about 60 papers in international journals and about 100 papers in proceedings of international conferences.

Professional Training

Consultancy

The consulting activity is mainly related to the use of neural networks and chaotic circuits, with application to the Industrial Engineering and to the Information Engineering. Specifically, the Group is involved in: - circuit design for generating multi-scroll attractors and multi-wing attractors; - dc-dc converters with chaotic behaviors; - design of video-coding architectures based on Cellular Neural Networks; - design of chaotic and hyperchaotic circuits; - design of circuits for chaos-based cryptography.
